The Grammys are known for attracting bold and glamorous looks more than any other music award show – and attendees did not disappoint this past Sunday.
For the first time, the 64th Grammy Awards were held in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. Stars walked the carpet in the hottest designers of today, looking classy as ever. Some of the best-dressed names include Doja Cat, Dua Lipa, Giveon, and Chrissy Teigen.
Pink was the hot color of the night, with Chrissy Teigan in a gorgeous, oversized ballgown from Nicole + Felicia Couture. The hot pink dress’ ruffled bodice extended into a long train with a cascading ruffle, eye-catching from every angle. Travis Barker followed the trend with a knee-length, satin blazer from Raf Simons, while Justin Bieber wore a hot pink beanie making his oversized Balenciaga look all that more comfortable.
Saweetie stunned in a hot pink two-piece paired with matching opera gloves, reminiscent of Marilyn Monroe’s “Diamonds Are a Girls Best Friend” look. The Valentino set paired with a diamond necklace was the first of two looks, the other being a black Oscar de la Renta bubble gown with a crystal bustier. Billy Porter did not disappoint in an all-pink Valentino ensemble. A ruffled, floor-length button-down was paired with matching gloves and trousers, silver boots, and a small rhinestone purse.

As always, the chic work of a classic black look made an appearance as well. Giveon walked the carpet in a sequined Chanel tweed suit. Lady Gaga went the route of “Old Hollywood” and executed it flawlessly. She walked the carpet in a black-and-white Armani Prive gown with a pleated train and a classic Hollywood updo and diamond necklace to complete the look. Donatella Versace worked her magic on Dua Lipa, who wore a vintage gown from the 1992 fall collection, “Miss S&M”. The iconic bondage dress was layered in sexy straps, gold buckles, and heavy gold chains. Dreezy walked the carpet in a black and silver Mugler gown. The Hollywood waves, high slit, and deep plunge bustier gave the look a sexy, sophisticated look.

Coperni bags made a few appearances on the carpet and for good reason. The unique bags added the final touch for Doja Cat and Tinashe. Doja wore a dreamy Versace gown dripping with crystals and a corset bodice. Her clear Coperni bag was used to accessorize along with matching platform shoes, diamond jewelry, and her hair, spiked and bleach blonde, emulated the vibe of Gwen Stefani in the early 2000s. Tinashe gave a taste of the 2000s, wearing a pink latex GCDS mermaid gown, paired with a red, marble Coperni bag.
Continuing on with the early 2000’s trend is Derrick Barry. Encapsulating what may be my favorite look from the years of low-ride jeans and oversized sunglasses, Barry wore a pure white gown with a fur stole with a blonde side-part. Barry mirrored Britney Spears’ Randolph Duke gown and Oscar de la Renta stole that she wore to the 2000 Grammy Awards from head to toe.
